who am i?
My name is Emma. I’m a reporter based in a small town in the southeastern U.S. Growing up in a rural area, I’ve learned to love the quirks that come with small town living and what makes a town unique.
I have a degree in journalism from a four-year university, but this side project is just for fun. I was inspired to make this account from the stories I share with my boyfriend after work.

I graduated college in August 2024, when I was 21. I worked at my college’s student newspaper from 2021-24. A week after graduation, I began working at my current workplace (a print newspaper).
